Why Do I Cosleep?
I do it for the midnight chats,
for the nursing snuggles,
for the sleepy smiles when the sun comes up.
for the nursing snuggles,
for the sleepy smiles when the sun comes up.
I do it for the warmth and security,
the natural serenity,
for the peace of my loved ones surrounding me.
the natural serenity,
for the peace of my loved ones surrounding me.
I do it for the sleep-laughs,
the crazy bed-head tickle-fights,
the instant comfort during nightmares.
the crazy bed-head tickle-fights,
the instant comfort during nightmares.
I do it for the arm (or leg!) flopped over me,
over dad, or baby brother.
I do it for the tiny hands,
gently seeking out my own in the dark.
I do it to see daddy snuggles,
to watch them sprawled out the exact same way,
to witness the beautiful bond they have.
to watch them sprawled out the exact same way,
to witness the beautiful bond they have.
I watch the same thing happen with her brother now.
I do it for the biological reasons,
for the psychological reasons,
for the love reasons.
for the psychological reasons,
for the love reasons.
Sometimes I get kicked in the face
or end up at the end of the bed,
but I wouldn't change it for the world,
or end up at the end of the bed,
but I wouldn't change it for the world,
Every second is worth it in the end.
They're only little for such a short while,
so why waste precious time kicking them out of our bed?
so why waste precious time kicking them out of our bed?
THIS is why I Cosleep. ❤
